Whilst the Cambridgeshire Football Association rely heavily on funding from The Football Association to carry out its remit to administer and develop grass roots football in Cambridgeshire, the Association also welcomes sponsorship from the national and local business communities to enable football to be available to all at a reasonable cost, so securing the long term future of football in the County.
The Association’s very first sponsor was Colin Brown of the Tyre Service Company in Histon Road, Cambridge who, in 1980, agreed to support the Cambridgeshire Premier League. Since then the Association has forged long-standing partnerships with a variety of sponsors across a wide field of football activities in the County.
