Cambridgeshire FA - developing football for everyone
About Us - promoting local football

Current Partners & Sponsors

At national level, the County values the support offered by both Umbro & Tesco to enable and develop grass roots football. In Cambridgeshire Umbro supports the County through the supply of clothing & equipment for staff & local projects, together with sponsorship of the Umbro Fives competition, the Munns Youth Challenge Cup - the County Cup for the Under 18s, and the Pye Youth Challenge Cup - the County Cup for the Under 16s.

Similarly, Tesco provide valuable support for 3 County Cup Competitions: the Tesco Under 13 Youth Challenge Cup for boys, and the Tesco Under 14 Girls and Tesco Under 16 Girls Challenge Cups.

At a local level, many of the County Cups are sponsored by local companies who have enjoyed long standing partnerships with the Cambridgeshire FA:
Invitation Cup  -  sponsored by Ridgeons Limited
Women's Invitation Cup -  sponsored by S-Tech Insurance
Women's Junior Invitation Cup  -  sponsored by S-Tech Insurance
Cliff Bullen Challenge Cup  -  sponsored by Barham & Sons
Lower Junior Challenge Cup  -  sponsored by The BIS Group
Sunday Centenary Cup -  sponsored by C.J. Murfitt Ltd
Sunday Millennium Cup  -  sponsored by Fen Regis Trophies

For many years the County has valued the support of Lancaster Insurance Services for all the County Representative Teams - at Under 18s & U16s boys & a Women's team.

The Cambridge Evening News support & publicise the County's Fair Play Award, now in its 8th year.

A & H International kindly supply all our match officials appointed to the Invitation Cup Final with a full kit for the occasion.

The County Association also runs a number of Leagues:

  • The Cambridgeshire County League is played on Saturdays and the top three divisions, and their respective league cups are sponsored by Kershaw Mechanical Services with the lower divisions being supported by The BIS Group.  Kershaw Mechanical Services have recently agreed to back the county's Premier Leagues for another three years until 2012.  It means the Cambridgeshire FA and the Cambridge-based company, who began their sponsorship deal in 1991, will have been working together for 21 years and this could possibly be the longest standing partnership of its type in the country!
  • For girls and women, the Cambridgeshire Women's & Girls' Leagues, and their league cups are well supported by S-Tech Insurance.
  • Brand new for 2009/2010 is the Cambridgeshire 9 v 9 Youth League for Under 11s, and is sponsored by new sponsor Barry Kempton of B.M. Kempton car body repairs.
