We are planning one Goalkeeping Level 1 course in 2010 to start with and will schedule another if sufficient demand exists. The course comprises three daytime sessions held over three weekdays or consecutive weekends. You must attend all three session of the course to qualify for the assessment. The course is delivered by goalkeeping tutors appointed directly by The FA and a qualified physiotherapist is present at all the practical sessions.

• Do keepers get a fair chance to play their best if they are not being coached keeping skills?
Why not give your goalkeeper(s) an edge over the others in the league by having a goalkeeping coach to concentrate on the keepers at your club. On passing this course your Goalkeeping coach will be equipped to:
• Coach basic individual techniques.
• Understand how to develop and improve the Goalkeepers’ technique.

* Candidates who currently hold these qualifications must produce their original certificates to be accredited prior to certification. Candidates who have not yet completed an emergency first aid or child protection course should book these FA courses prior to starting the Level 1 Goalkeeping award.
