PRIMARY SCHOOL LEAGUE
The Girls Primary School League runs from September to Easter and involves various schools from across the County. This year we are running leagues in the City and two leagues in South Cambs and for 2008-9 we are hoping to add Fenland Schools.
SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMPETITIONS
Cambs FA have been running a girls grand prix competition for secondary schools for a number of years now and each year sees an increase in the number of schools and girls attending. This involves a series of tournaments run throughout the Academic Year for under 12, under 14 and under 16 girls. Dates for the 2008 / 2009 events will appear in due course.
CAMBS S-TECH GIRLS LEAGUE
The Cambridgeshire Girls League sponsored by S-Tech continues to go from strength to strength. Offering clubs the opportunity to compete from under 10's through to under 16's. CAMBS S-TECH WOMEN'S LEAGUE
This league has developed as an exit route from our girls league and continues to grow with more clubs joining. This league feeds into the Eastern Region Women's League offering clubs the opportunity to progress along the women's pyramid system. For the 2007 / 2008 Season, the S-Tech Women's League will be joining the Suffolk Women's League to offer our clubs an extra Cup Competition. FENLAND GIRLS LEAGUE
The Fenland & District Youth Soccer League incorporates a girls section which involves teams from under 10 through to under 16's. To view the league tables and find out more about the league click here
FENLAND WOMEN'S LEAGUE
In the 05/06 season the Fenland Girls League ran un under 18 section to their girls league. This then developed into the current women's league. The league consists of teams mainly from Fenland and Peterborough. To view the league tables and to find out which teams are involved click here
CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE
Cambridge United Girls Centre of Excellence has been running since 2002 and offers elite female footballers the opportunity of competing against other centres at under 10, under 12, under 14 and under 16 age groups. START-UP PACKAGES FOR NEW TEAMS
New teams can apply for a start up package which consists of £200 worth of equipment including football, bibs, cones, first aid kit, football bag and a place on a level 1 course (see right hand related link for dates). Clubs that apply for this must be Charter Standard or commit to become Charter Standard within 12 months. Start Up packages are limited to one per club. COACHING COURSES FOR FEMALES
Last year we ran a Level 1 coaching football course aimed at girls and women (16+). This course was taken by 33 females, all of whom have now obtained the qualification and are putting it to good use in their local clubs and schools.
We organised another Level 1 for girls and women in July 2007 and this was another success in developing more female coaches in the County.
We have now organised the dates for our first ever female Level 2 course which is running in August. See dates on right hand side. To book on to this course contact Beverley Clarkson.

If you're over 14 years of age and would like to know about being a referee, then contact our Referee Development Officer, Colin Hills who will be able to give you some advice on the fantastic opportunities that are available to females in the world of Refereeing.
