FAMOA DEVELOPMENT EVENT

This year's Referee FAMOA Development Evening will take place on Monday 8th September at the Association headquarters and will be led by FA Senior Licenced Instructor, Derek Bray from Linconshire. The programme will include items of interest for all, no matter what your referee level and will be a great opportunity to meet not only Derek, but your Regional Referee Manager, Keith Hill and other colleagues. Refreshments will be provided at 6.30pm, so let Colin Hills know if you intend joining the session.

REFEREE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Chris Abbott has recently attended a week long residential course at Staverton with a view to earning his Licenced Referee Instructor status. Chris prepared and delivered presentations to his group, both inside the classroom and outside in the field under the watchful eye of his mentor, Steve Swallow. Despite the hard work, Chris says that he enjoyed the challenge and now looks forward to passing-on his knowledge to you all.

Well done Chris!
