Volunteers-Football Workforce Awards 2008-09

3:38 PM, Friday, 16 January 09. Volunteers

As the season draws to a close it’s time to think about how we can say ‘thank you’ to all the volunteers who keep football going every week, across the County.

Clubs and leagues can nominate people using the nomination forms in the related documents section on the right, to be considered for a County award. The forms should be returned to Cambs FA by 31st May 2009.

Cambs FA will be able to present 6 County Awards and will nominate one person to the FA. From these nominations the FA will choose 7 people to receive National Football Workforce Awards for their contribution to football during the 2008-09 season.

In addition you can also nominate a Young Volunteer [Under 18 at start of the season] for recognition, and a Under 25 volunteer as part of the FA McDonald’s V programme.

Cambs FA will chose 1 Young winner and 1 U25 FA McDonald’s V volunteer and nominate these winners to The FA who in turn will chose National winners to attend The FA Community Shield.
