Are you new to your club committee?

4:00 PM, Thursday, 12 August 10. Charter Standard

If you're involved in running a football club, this workshop could help save you time and make your life easier.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of grassroots football. They dedicate time and energy week in and week out. Without them most football clubs would cease to exist. We know the life of a football volunteer is far from easy. And that's where we want to help.

Club committee members are invited to attend a Running a Club workshop. This workshop aims to help you get more for yourself, your club and its members to make sure clubs not only survive, but also grow and thrive.

The workshop will be tailored to those attending. New volunteers will learn exactly what the role entails and how to access support and resources to become an even greater asset to their club by taking it on. Experienced volunteers are also welcome to share their wisdom and by networking with other clubs may even find some gems of advice.

Experienced club officials will be on hand to answer any queries and offer tips and advice. Talking to volunteers from other clubs and sharing ideas is an ideal way for you to get to grips with all the key issues facing you in your role.

The workshop will be available at two venues:

Tues 14th September at Doddington Sports Pavillion. 7pm-9pm
Thurs 16th September at Cambridgeshire FA, Impington. 7pm-9pm

The workshops are free. To book your place please email Joanne.Bull@CambridgeshireFA.com or call 01223 209035 stating your name, club and position.

We hope to see you there.
