Referees Officer Appointed

Cambridgeshire FA appoint new Referees' Officer.

Cambridgeshire FA is delighted to announce that Colin Hills has been appointed to the role of Referees’ Officer. Colin will re-join the Cambridgeshire FA on Monday 19th October.

Cambridgeshire FA’s Chairman of the Referees’ Committee, Phil Hill, commented: "I am delighted that Colin has re-joined this Association, as he brings unrivalled experience and expertise in the field of refereeing. I am sure he will drive our refereeing work forward as we focus on appointments and development work to meet our target of 90% coverage of games by a qualified and registered referee."

Chris Pringle, Cambridgeshire FA’s CEO added: "Colin’s appointment is great news for us as he will be able to bring his technical knowledge all aspects of refereeing back to our county for the benefit of our referees, assessors, tutors and mentors all of whom support our referees. We are looking forward to working with him to bring us fresh ideas to improve both our appointments process and development of referees in general."

The County FA are sure everyone involved in local football, many of whom will know Colin from his previous time with the Cambs FA, will wish Colin well in his new role.
