New Youth Council Launched

Cambridgeshire FA has launched a new Youth Council to give young people a voice in shaping the future of the game.

The group’s first meeting was held at Cambridgeshire FA HQ on Thursday 14th January with five members in attendance.

Cambridgeshire FA Chief Executive, Chris Pringle, opened the meeting and gave the group a brief overview of the County FA strategy 2015-19. The group then discussed ways the Youth Council could support the strategy. Members agreed on their first two projects: provision of fun, recreational football for people who have dropped out of traditional football, and coach support groups for other young people.
