Cambridge United are hosting soccer schools for girls aged 6 -14.

The soccer schools will be held at both Chesterton Community College and Sawston Village College. The sessions will cost £15 per day.

Day 1: 30 May 2017 - 09:00-16:00
Day 2: 31 May 2017 - 09:00-16:00
Day 3: 01 June 2017 - 09:00-16:00
Day 4: 02 June 2017 - 09:00-16:00

What to expect from the sessions:

Early drop off is from 8:00 – 9:00am - The course starts at 9am, but for convenience we offer this free service for parents that need to drop their child beforehand.

Registration - Parents must sign their child in and out of our care each day. Shortly after 9:00am the coaches will go through the key details, procedures, rules and expectations for the children.

Technical Sessions - Each day the players will work on a technical element of the game and receive key learning points. The day will be based around the outstanding qualities of some of our current players at the club. The coaches will make this appropriate for the various ages and abilities within the group ensuring that all are challenged, whist ensuring a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Educational Workshops - Each day the players will work on a topic designed to educate them on the key positive messages that sit behind football and sport in general. This half term the theme is respect and throughout the course all will take part in scenario based examples and see real sporting examples where respect has featured both positively and negatively highlighting its need.

Fun, games & matches - Whilst our Soccer Schools do offer professional coaching from highly qualified Youth Development coaches, we are keen to ensure that there is a good combination of technical training, fun games & matches. Our inflatable football pitches are always popular as are the other games such as our Mick George target goal challenge or our football Olympics tournaments.

There will always be plenty of time dedicated to playing matches in a fun tournament style format. These matches are a great opportunity for players to put into practice what has been learned throughout the day.

Daily review - Our daily review will take place from 3:50 - 4:00 where you are free to come along and see exactly what your children have been working on throughout the day.

Late pick up from 4:00 – 5:00pm - Activities finish at 4:00pm and parents can arrive shortly before to hear the coaches’ end of day presentation. However parents can pick up their child until 5:00pm if this better suits their working commitments.
