Andy Cranch Named England Over-55s Veterans Team Player/Manager

Fraser Confrey to step up to manage the Over-50s Cambridgeshire Veterans Team

Andy Cranch is to step up to become player/manager of the England National Over-55 Veterans Team.

Andy has been managing the Over-50 Cambridgeshire Veterans Team for Cambridgeshire FA, where he has developed a team that has achieved great success in recent seasons.

This success is not just measured in terms of results, but has been instrumental in attracting new teams and players into Vets Football.

Back in the day, 1978, Andy got into football signing for Exeter City as a schoolboy and has played for, coached and managed a number of teams over subsequent years. Andy currently plays for Broomfield Over-45s in the Premier Division of the Essex Veterans League and also is involved with Cambridge and Impington Veterans and Red Bull Veterans in Cambridge.

We send Andy wishes for every success in this prestigious challenge from the footballing family of Cambridgeshire.
