Our second Club Assistant Referee Workshop will take place on at Chatteris Town FC on Monday 16th September at 7pm.

The session will be up to 90 minutes long and is available to anyone who has an interest in "running the line". Whether you are the chosen volunteer on a weekly basis who is handed the flag or have never even had a go, come along to this fun and interactive session.

Sessions will be FREE and all participants will receive a certificate of attendance (although there is no formal qualification).

Topics covered will include: what to do (and what not to do!) with the flag, how to signal, basic decision making, positioning, and plenty of opportunities to apply the techniques in a practical setting out on the pitch.

Cambridgeshire FA Referee Development Officer, Jack Badcock, said: "We had such a fantastic response to our first workshop, and demand was very high, so we are delighted to have been able to arrange a second Club Assistant Referee Workshop to ensure as many people as possible are prepared when they are called upon to run the line next season."
