Vacancy - Competitions and Clubs Development Administrator

We're looking for a Competitions and Clubs Development Administrator to join our team.

Cambridgeshire FA has a vacancy for a part-time (18.5 hours p/w including weekends) Competitions and Clubs Development Administrator.

The Competitions and Clubs Development Administrator will support delivery of the Cambridgeshire Football Association 2024-28 Strategy and The FA Grassroots Football Strategy. We’re looking for a pro-active self-starter to work within our competitions and clubs team. This is a great opportunity to support our grassroots clubs to progress through the England Accreditation pathway enabling them to grow, develop and offer quality playing opportunities. The role will also support and enhance local leagues by appointing referees to games. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in administration and have excellent people skills.

The role is based at Cambridgeshire FA HQ, Bridge Road, Impington, Cambridgeshire, CB24 9PH, although we are currently operating a flexible hybrid working model with our staff splitting their time between site based and home working. We believe this maintains the benefits of home working, while allowing for collaboration, interaction, and business functions.

The salary starts from £11,554 (18.5 hours per week) with the following working days required:

Monday: 6 hours (during office hours – at CFA HQ)
Wednesday: 4 hours (during office hours – at CFA HQ)
Friday: 4 hours (preferably in the afternoon - remote)
Saturday: 10 am to 1.30 pm (remote)
Sunday: 9 am to 10 am (remote)

The closing date for applications is Monday 30th September 2024 with interviews planned for Friday 25th October 2024. We will contact you to arrange interview details if you are shortlisted.

The CFA is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk. Due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check through The FA DBS process. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
