Cambridgeshire County Disability League unveils new look
The changes to the League include a renaming and additional divisions.
The Parability League has now been rebranded as Cambridgeshire County Disability League and this season will feature four divisions, including a new Under 16 League.
The full list of divisions is as follows:
- White
- Blue
- Yellow
- Under 16
The League is also launching new initiatives to improve the experience for everyone involved. These include:
- Formation of a dedicated league committee
- Establishment of a working group
- Upskilled referees to improve match quality
- Increased number of matches for all divisions
- Enhanced overall football experience
We have also put a four-year plan in place to expand the league with more divisions, providing greater opportunities for participation, as well as a new Cup competition.
Cambridgeshire FA's Football Development Officer (Inclusion), Ryan Kay, said: "The rebranding to Cambridgeshire County Disability League marks a new chapter in our journey. We are committed to providing a more inclusive and enriching football experience for all our players, and the changes we’ve implemented are just the beginning,"
