Young Volunteers
We are currently recruiting new members for our Youth Council.
This is an ideal opportunity for those who would like to increase their involvement and influence in football.
As a youth council we aim to:
Provide a communication platform for children and young people within the footballing community
Support children and young people in staying involved in the game for longer and reducing dropout rates
Influence young people to volunteer in football in a range of roles
Help young people develop in their chosen area including coaching, refereeing, playing and volunteering.
We are looking for passionate and driven volunteers aged 16-25 who really want to help us make a difference to football in Cambridgeshire. We are hoping to achieve this through a range of projects, working with clubs and other volunteers, supporting at local footballing events and delivering programmes to the Football Futures group.
If you think that you can help us make a difference and are able to commit to one meeting a month then we want to hear from you

Our sessions are tailored to your needs. Each session will be based around an area that members of Football Futures have highlighted as of interest to them.
The Football Futures programme offers opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and connections, with access to various training workshops and courses. The group is led by the Football Futures leaders who are all active members of the Youth Council and have a selection of experience and qualifications. They plan and help to organise the various events which will be running throughout the year.
Football Futures provides valuable life skills, experience and support through placements and FA qualifications, a great addition to any young volunteer's CV when applying for university or career opportunities! With links to our Coaches Association and Charter Standard events there are many other opportunities to gain experience and learn more, free of charge.
The Youth Council is open to anyone between the ages of 16-25
We will be holding one meeting a month at a central venue
