Educational courses are a great way to improve your knowledge, understanding and expertise in football. Whatever your experience, whatever your level, there are always new things to learn.
To give players the best opportunity to develop, achieve their maximum potential and importantly, enjoy the game, coaches must be aware of the latest techniques and philosophies involved in coaching the game. Cambridgeshire FA offers courses for you to develop in every aspect of grassroots football and gain official FA qualifications, from FA Level One Award in Coaching Football and the very popular FA Youth Awards, right through to working in partnership with The FA in providing guidance to those coaches that wish to progress to the most advanced UEFA Pro Licenses. The courses we offer coaches are packed with expert knowledge and cover all areas of player development.
Already a Coach?
Here at Cambridgeshire FA we offer regular opportunities for Continued Professional Development. Working closely with The FA Regional Development Managers, we provide on-going support to Coaches and clubs. As the game is ever-changing, players becoming quicker, stronger and more creative, the role of Coach can never be under estimated and what better way to learn than to watch the experts in action.
Not a Coach?
You can also get involved in football by training in First Aid, attending Safeguarding Children Workshops or becoming a Welfare Officer. There are plenty of opportunities within grassroots football.
FAN Number
Your FAN is your unique record which holds all your qualifications against it and allows you to progress through the coaching pathway. It is also your Login or username for booking online courses and Members’ Services.
If you have completed an FA Course, FA CRB check or are a player of an affiliated club, then you may already have a FAN Number. To find out please visit The FA FAN Finder page.

Whether you would like to improve your skills as a football coach or brush up your knowledge of pitch side medical treatment, you can book your course here. We offer a simple online booking process or if you would prefer to pay by cash or cheque, you can download a booking form from the link below and return it to the County FA Headquarters with the correct payment.
