The new GDPR will replace the current data protection regulations as of 25th May 2018
Data protection laws are evolving. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is already in force and we are currently in a period of implementation with the deadline for compliance set for 25 May 2018.
GDPR will give new rights to individuals in respect of the personal data held by companies, place obligations on companies on data collection and processing and introduce a new regime of fines for data breaches.
