NORWICH CITY TO HOST ENGLAND U21S' EURO QUALIFIER AGAINST NETHERLANDS
Norwich City’s stadium will play host to the tie on Thursday 6 September (7.45pm KO).
The Young Lions sit top of Group 4, five points ahead of their Dutch visitors with four matches to play.
The teams drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture in Doetinchem in September 2017 with Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the scoresheet for England.
Tickets are on sale now priced £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s and over-65s. A family ticket (two adults and two children) priced £20 is available and group booking and Charter Standard discounts apply.
Tickets can be bought via TheFA.com/Tickets, by calling 01603 721 902 or in person at the Norwich City ticket office.
Head coach Aidy Boothroyd, who spent three years at Norwich City working with youth teams, said: “This match is a really important one in our aim to qualify for next summer’s Euros. Netherlands are a really strong side and it will be a tough and entertaining game.
“I loved my time at Norwich. I had three great years there, my daughter was born there and whenever I go back Delia [Smith, the club’s joint majority shareholder] and the rest of the directors are very welcoming to me and my family.
“It is a brilliant club in an amazing part of the country, with great supporters. We hope they’ll come out in big numbers to get behind the team as we look to get all three points and work our way towards qualification.”
The Young Lions last played at Carrow Road in September 2012 when they beat Serbia 1-0 in the Euro 2013 play-off first leg, thanks to a goal from Craig Dawson.
England are currently in the south of France for the Maurice Revello Toulon Tournament. They face China in their opening game at the Stade De Lattre, Aubagne on Saturday 26 May (2pm BST KO).
They will then take on Mexico at the Stade D’Honneur, Salon on Tuesday 29 May (6.30pm BST KO) and Qatar, in their final group game, at Stade Parsemain, Fos-Sur-Mer on Friday 1 June (6.30pm BST KO).
