Change at the helm at Cambridgeshire FA
Cambridgeshire FA has announced a change at the top of the organisation, with the impending departure of the CEO, Chris Pringle, who joins The Football Association as a Senior Regional Manger on the 3rd September. Pringle will be succeeded by Jo Bull, currently Facilities & Participation Manager at Cambridgeshire FA, following her appointment yesterday as Interim CEO.
Roger Pawley, Chairman of Cambs FA, said: ‘Over a number of years the Cambridgeshire FA has delivered many changes with a high class of skills and in the last twelve months the manner in which Chris Pringle and his team have achieved their targets, implemented the Safeguarding Operating Standard, delivered Council representation reforms and devised the new strategy for 2018/2021 and this hasn’t gone unnoticed at the FA Headquarters. In appointing Jo, we recognise that while she has a hard act to follow, we have the confidence that she will quickly learn all that is required of our CEO and continue the excellent work delivered by our organisation.’
Chris Pringle added: ‘I am proud of what our team has achieved for football in our county. Personally this has been a rewarding job for the last 8 years, and I’ll be sad to leave. However it’s also a good time to move on with the CFA in a strong position. I wish Jo and the team every success in continuing their great work and taking full advantage of the profile of the England men’s team at the World Cup in Russia.’
