Referee Development Day
We will be running a Referee Development Day ahead of the 2019/20 season.
The workshop will ensure that officials are prepared for the start of the football season through 5 workshops focused on Expectations.
Referees in attendance will complete five 50 minute workshops on the following topics:
- Assistant Refereeing: A Referee’s Expectations
- Game day expectations
- Decision Making
- Fitness Development
- Laws of the Game
The day will be concluded with keynote sessions from Neil Hair and Alan Young, two Football League Referees and the formal launch of our County CORE.
This development day promises to be full of development, learning and will stand all referees in good stead for the start of the 2019/20 season and is a great opportunity for everyone to engage, update their knowledge and increase the opportunities available to them.
Lunch will be provided in a buffet style for everyone that is in attendance, but officials will be required to ensure that they bring adequate water, outdoor training kit. Changing facilities and showers will be made available for all officials ready for the afternoon sessions that will take place indoors.
