support your team's with ASSISTANT referee training

Cambridgeshire FA is running a series of club Assistant Referee Workshops.

The latest events, scheduled for 31st July and 2nd August at Chatteris Town FC and Cambs FA respectively will both start a 7pm.

Each session will be up to 90 minutes long and is available to anyone who has an interest in "running the line". Whether you are the chosen volunteer on a weekly basis who is handed the flag or have never even had a go, come along to this fun and interactive session.

Sessions will be FREE and all participants will receive a certificate of attendance (although there is no formal qualification).

Topics covered will include: what to do (and what not to do!) with the flag, how to signal, basic decision making, positioning, and plenty of opportunities to apply the techniques in a practical setting out on the pitch.
