Football Development Manager Katie Critchley said “This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to get involved in recreational football and to gain qualifications that will support them in the future, such as coaching and refereeing. Lockdown has been incredibly difficult for some, and Kickstart provides participants with an engaging football package to encourage young people to keep active and become young leaders within the community. We’re incredibly lucky to have the support of The Football Association and Cambridgeshire Constabulary, who have funded this project to ensure young people can access positive football experiences.”
