Let Us Play Champions!

Each week we are asking each team to nominate a player to complete a short survey about their match from the weekend

Cambridgeshire FA is launching a new initiative to gain feedback from young players about their grassroots matches. It’s called Let Us Play Champion and it’s starting this weekend!
It is vital that we listen to the voice of our young players so that we can help to shape what their football experience looks like.

How does it work?

Each week, we are asking each team to nominate a player to complete a short survey about their match from the weekend.

This should be a different player each week to ensure as many players feel involved in the project, and more importantly involved in our game! We would like to hear from everyone and the survey should take no more than 5 minutes.

We really believe this will give us the opportunity to understand how young people feel about their football experience and help us to support the areas where poor practice is in place. Good practice will be shared anonymously via our social media channels. During the pilot phase of this project, there were so many fantastic examples of good practice, and we can’t wait to start sharing this information with everyone!

It would be great when choosing your Let Us Play Champion for the week, if you could advertise on social media the player chosen e.g. Chris is our #LetUsPlay Champion for this week.

(Due to safeguarding policies, please do not post the child’s picture with their full name. First name will be fine.)
