Let Us Play

Let Us Play Festival Success

Cambridgeshire FA hosts festival to promote positivity, sportsmanship, respect and skill.

This week saw Cambridgeshire FA host a Let Us Play Festival, which brought together players at Under-7 and Under-8 age groups for a day packed with fun and football.

Held at Histon Recreation Ground, the festival provided an action-filled day, which focused on sportsmanship, respect and skill.

Let Us PlayPlayers had the chance to take part in skill building workshops, which were delivered by experienced coaches. The workshops focused on developing fundamental techniques, teamwork and ensuring that the young players started to have a deeper understanding of the game.

Later in the day, the players were able to enjoy a series of friendly small-sided games, with a host of passion, determination and enjoyment on display from everyone involved.

The Let Us Play Festival provided a celebration of teamwork, development and sheer love of the game.

Here’s a selection of comments we received from participants and parents:

“Thank you for a fun-filled day and keeping the children active!”

“Really enjoyed seeing all the kids happy and smiling, and interacting with knowledgeable coaches!”

From Cambridgeshire FA, thank you to all the parents, carers and players for getting involved and being part of a memorable day!

Over the course of the season, we will be launching more Let Us Play Festivals, so keep an eye on our website and social media channels for details as and when they’re confirmed.
