mental health awareness course
The Skills Network are offering all referees and officials the opportunity to study a nationally recognised qualification at no cost. The course is fully funded by the Government and also long distance which means you can study at your own pace. Learners will gain a level 2 qualification, receiving their official CACHE accredited certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems
You must be:
- Over 19 years of age
- Have lived in the EU for the last 3 years
- Not currently be studying another government funded course
1. Attend the FREE introductory session (with a parent/guardian if aged 16 or under)
2. Be at least 14 years of age
3. Completed relevant FA Safeguarding Children training
4. Hold a current FA CRC (aged 16 or over)
Note: The above pre-requisites, for those who do not already hold the appropriate evidence, will normally be provided by recognised centres as part of the learning programme
21 hours (including 5 matches a referee)

The minimum age to book onto and attend a course is 14.
